Newsletter W.E. 07.03.2014

This week in F2 unit, children have been spending lots of time in our role play area which was turned into a Vet clinic. After successful visits from ARC people, we were inspired by how much they take care and love pets!

Aside from role playing, children have been exploring new activities such as mark making using sand tray and different tools. We have also been experimenting with colours through the use of beakers, food colours and pipettes. They have been looking at what changes will take place when they mix colours.

Outside, children have been participating in more gross motor skill activities such as throwing and catching balls, skipping and jumping and kicking the ball towards a net. This is in preparation for the upcoming EYFS Activity Day. <------ please click to see the poster.

Dr Phuong Anh is a very caring vet in the clinic.

Tam has been a very helpful receptionist.

Khanh An traced her hand on the sand tray using a chopstick.

Throwing and catching in the main playground.

Hai was very engaged mixing colours!
And Tina as well!

REMINDER:
