Newsletter 8th November

Dear Parents,

Thank you for all your wonderful International week contributions and ideas.  If you haven't done so already, please remember to send us some photos of places your children have visited when they have gone back to their home countries. For children of Vietnamese nationality, you are welcome to bring in photos of their holidays in other countries.

A reminder of whole school events:

Monday 11th November- F1 and 2 will join the flag parade this year in the hall and will parade at 8.15 am. Please bring your child into school wearing their national costume.  Please also make sure your child is on time.

Wednesday 13th November- International cafe and fair.  Please buy tickets from Ms Oanh in the office if you would like your child to take part in the fair activities.

The children have expressed a wide range of interests this week.  Please see below for what we have been up to:

The children loved playing with the new water wheel in the splash pool.
We have been pleased to see a wider range of friendships developing in the unit.

Most of the children have been interested in reading shark books(fiction and non-fiction).

We celebrated Minh's 4th birthday on Tuesday.  Happy Birthday Minh!

The children have been making their national flags for the international flag parade.

We have been counting the number of beats in words and copying simple rhythms.

We now have two very big sharks in the class!
